Mine does like the Federals and reloads at a solid 1200 fps. Shot it for a year as is, and shot it extremely well one of the best handling guns I own. He said that to properly convert a 2 9/16" gun to 2 3/4" is more expensive than most of them are worth. If you had a high grade 2 9/16" gun, the conversion would wreck the value.
